Our dedicated Bariatric Nurse Educators are highly specialized to care for the unique needs of patients struggling with obesity. They are able to offer high quality advice and care to meet each patients specific needs.
Natasha began her career as a LPN working with patients post-op after having bariatric surgery. Natasha now focuses on community health and long term management within the bariatric population, specializing in nutrition.
She is passionate about nutrition and enjoys cooking and searching for new exciting ways to incorporate healthy eating into day to day life.
Tamala first started her nursing career working in family medicine. Now her main focus is guiding patients through their weight loss journey.
She has a nutrition background and a passion for living a healthy lifestyle.
When she’s not at work she enjoys spending her time outdoors with her dog and family.
Shauna just graduated from the LPN program, back in her home province Newfoundland.
She has a strong interest in all departments at our clinic and looks forward to helping patients achieve all their goals.
Outside of work, you can find Shauna doing any outside activity or chatting with her family back east.
Navi graduated from bow valley college in 2014 as licensed practical nurse.
Navi worked in the weight management industry for 5 years before starting at AOC and is excited to support individuals in long-term obesity management.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and hiking.
Kristen graduated in 2021 and began her nursing career working in Postpartum at the Rockyview General Hospital. She continually strives to provide patient centered care and is excited to help patients reach their goals.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog and trying new foods.
Kirsty began her nursing career in orthopedic surgery in 2019 at the South Health Campus. She is excited to continue supporting patients through their health journeys.
Outside of work she enjoys going to yoga and being everyone's dog auntie!
Samar graduated from Bow Valley College in April of 2022. She began her nursing career in home care. She is passionate about supporting patients through their exciting weight loss journeys.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors and going to the gym.
Sydney graduated from the Medical Office Assistant program at Bow Valley College in December of 2021.
She is very dedicated to providing outstanding patient care from the front desk and advocating for health and wellness.
Sydney finds enjoyment in nature and everything related to art including painting and drawing.
