Driven by a passion for health care, she furthered her education at the Medical School, University of Nis, Serbia, where she earned her medical degree.
She immigrated to Canada following the completion of her medical studies. In her new home, Sonja immersed herself in the medical community, first in a Family Medicine setting as a medical coordinator/lead admin and later in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Management as a clinic manager. Her role as a clinic manager allowed her to blend her medical background with her organizational skills, contributing to the efficient functioning of the healthcare facility. Sonja is thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and impactful team at AOC.
